We are advising you to get relaxed and free because many a times people get nervous and tensed when they find someone next to them fall down due to heart attack and breathing problem.
- Call ambulance so that if your help of performing CPR doesn’t work you can move the person to the hospital.
- Checking victims pulse is necessary but do not check the pulse more than seconds because if you feel that victim does not have a pulse then you can just go for CPR immediately without any delay.
- Chest compression, airway and breathing are three steps which are in CPR. So be very careful while performing this.
- If the person is dead then just put your hand on hand on victim’s chest and do chest compression for about 30 times this helps the blood to circulate in a normal way like it was before(when a person was alive) then go for airway opening and rescue breathing
- When you feel that rescue breathing step as to be taken then check whether it is possible to give breath through mouth because if victims mouth is severely injured then one need to give breaths through nose rather than giving it through injured mouth.
- One need to be very spontaneous on taken proper steps on unexpected reactions of victim like for suppose, if victim vomits then the resuscitator need to immediately move the victim to a side so as to wipe of the mouth and then return him/her to the supine position.
